Bilingual Nurseries and Schools#

Paid. Expect £1000-1500/month. Thanks to 15 free hours, the amount can be significantly lower.

• Bilingual nursery at the "Dar" Centre. Located on Abbey Road near the famous crossing in a church building nearby. You can enroll even toddlers. A very good nursery with attentive staff and many developmental games and activities. Almost everything is in Russian, but there are English lessons. The nursery has a Russian speech therapist; you can sign up for dance lessons. You can leave your child all day or selectively for part of the day.
• Bilingual school "Azbuka". Located near Ravenscourt Park Underground station (less than 100 meters). Has a nursery, reception class (for 4-year-olds), and classes from Year 1 to Year 6 (ages 5-11). Teaching is in both Russian and English. The curriculum is British, so there won't be problems continuing education. Part of the program is Russian (mathematics, Russian language, and some other elements).

There are Saturday schools for children who attend English schools.
